During 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification, Iran defeated Bahrain 6-0 in Tehran. Some sports analysts called this a revenge for Bahraini's carrying Saudi Arabia's flag in their previous victory in Tehran which disqualified Iran from the 2010 World Cup.
