Iran News Search Engine, Kodoom.com: On November 13, during World Weightlifting Tournament in Paris, France, Behdad Salimi from Iran lifted 214 KG (kilograms) and broke the world record in the super-heavy weight group:

Salimi won the gold medal, a Ukranian weightlifter won the silver and another Iranian, Sajjad Annoshirvani, won the bronze. In the overall medals ranking, Iran was placed third in the world, highest rank ever achieved by Iran.
