Canada Serial Killer Admits Murdering Homosexual Men, Including Two Iranian Immigrants
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related Events/News, Kodoom.com: Bruce McArthur: Two Iranian immigrants are among victims of Canada's serial killer, Bruce McArthur, who has just pleaded guilty to murdering eight men with ties to Toronto’s gay village.
McArthur is responsible for the deaths of Iranian immigrants Soroush Mahmudi and Majeed Kayhan among six others, mostly also immigrants from Asia and linked to the homosexual community of Toronto’s gay village.
McArthur, a Canadian landscaper, was arrested in January 2018 after years of speculation that the missing persons cases were connected to Toronto’s Gay Village neighbourhood. He was initially charged with the deaths of two men before the police subsequently charged him with six other murder counts.
Neighbors say McArthur was often busy tending to his elaborate gardens in front of his house or caring for birds that he raised in an out building on the property.
Lawyer Michael Canton, representing the Crown, disclosed details of the murders, informing the court that each murder was sex related, and included much planning and deliberation.
CTV News has learned that McArthur had been previously convicted of assault and given a two-year conditional sentence and banned from visiting Toronto’s gay village and from associating with male prostitutes.
