Guilty plea by Iranian-Canadian charged with sexual abuse of elderly women
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related news/events, Kodoom.com: According to CBC News, Shojaadin Mohammad Zadeh, 53, an Iranian-Canadian personal support worker charged with sexually assaulting elderly patients has been banned from working with vulnerable people after pleading guilty to "slapping a patient on the buttocks!" The sexual assault charges were filed in 2015 against Zadeh involved an 88-year-old woman patient under his care at Mackenzie Health hospital in Richmond Hill.
In 2016, Police charged Zadeh, an immigrant from Iran, with assaulting women at the Aurora long-term care centre by rubbing patient's breasts, groping their genitals, or slapping them while changing their diaper. These charges are withdrawn after Zadeh's new guilty plea. Zadeh has received a conditional discharge, which includes three years of probation. He also must not work in a hospital, long-term care centre or in any job that would put him in a position of trust with a "vulnerable person."
