Iranian American Real Estate Executive Killed in California Private Plane Crash
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: According to WFG, A small passenger plane carrying three Pacific Union International real estate executives and agents and family members crashed on Sunday, killing all five on board, including the pilot.
The victims, were identified as a couple: Scott Shepherd, 53; Lara Shepherd, 42; as well as Floria Hakimi, 62 and son Navid Hakimi, 32; and a young employee Nasim Ghanadan, 29, according to CBS Los Angeles.
CORRECTION: Initially Daily Mail and some sources had mistakenly identified Navid as Floria's husband
Floria Hakimi, Nasim Ghanadan and Lara Shepherd all were employed with Pacific Union International. Floria Hakimi was one of the founding partners at Empire Realty Associates, which was acquired by Pacific Union in October 2017. A member of the Iranian American community in the San Francisco Bay area, Floria was active in charitable and fundraising events such as those organized by Moms Against Poverty.
The twin-engine Cessna was heading to the airport southeast of Los Angeles when it came down and struck an unoccupied parked car in the lot of a Staples store and a CVS pharmacy, Orange County Fire Authority said. There was no fire and nobody on the ground was hurt.
