Several Iranian-Americans on Forbes 30 Under 30: Most Successful Professionals Under 30
Iran News Engine Kodoom.com: In this year's Forbes "30 Under 30" lists of most successful entrepreneurs under 30 years of age, there seems to be several names of Persian/Iranian origin:
- Kayvon Olomi, 26, Founder of AppTank, an online marketplace that matches mobile developers with app projects.
- Mazy Kazerooni, 21, who Co-founded Tracks.by with Matt Schlicht. They grew Lil Wayne's Facebook following to 30 million, parlayed that into music startup.
- Mozziyar Etemadi, 25, Graduate Student, Department of Bioengineering & Therapeutic Sciences, University of California, San Francisco: He is developing a mobile device to detect pre-term labor in high-risk pregnancies and alert the physician via the cloud.
- Edward Saatchi, 26, who Co-founded NationalField with Justin Lewis and Aharon Wasserman. They build private social networks for businesses, including Kaiser, the UK NHS and the Obama campaign.
There seems to be no young successful entrepreneurs of Iranian heritage in lists for the Finance, Entertainment, Law, Arts and Music (list includes Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, ...) fields. In addition to entrepreneurs of Iranian descent, there are numerous successful entrepreneurs of Jewish and Indian heritage in various lists.
