In March, for the first time White House celebrated "International Women's Day" with a Farsi (Persian) song by Mozhdah Jamalzadah. Mozhdah, an Afghan artist, singer and fashion model dedicated her song "Dukhtare Afghan" to the Afghani women oppressed by the extremists (Talibans). She performed the song in front of President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama with 300 special guests.
