A "green" supporter who planted trees for family of his would-be killers!

Kianoosh Asa, a graduate honor student in Chemical Engineering, disappeared during June 2009 anti-government demonstrations in Tehran and his bullet-ridden body was delivered to his family a week later. Besides being known as a philanthropist and a brave soul, Asa played music (on Tanbour). He was a supporter of Iran's "green" political reform movement but also a "green" environmentalist. One of his projects included planting trees in a barren and dry neighborhood, which is green today and host to families of pro-government militia and Revolutionary Guards. Ironically Asa planted trees for families of those who perhaps killed him. Video shows his family dedicating a tree on his tomb in City of Kermanshah on Iran's "tree planting" day:
