"Underground" women vocalists on a Tehran "rooftop" (videos)
Two underground music videos performed by women in Tehran, one from a young woman performing a Googoosh song in a private party, and another showing sisters Marjan and Mahsa Vahdat on a rooftop in Tehran (April 2012) performing "Twinklings of Hope" (Daram Omidi) in classical Persian style. Mahsa Vahdat (not allowed - as a woman - to perform in public for mixed men-women audiences) has been performing outside Iran (list in events pages here).
