Iranian-American comedians in demand
Many know the most successful Iranian American stand up comedian Maz Jobrani, but several other Iranian-American comics have successfully performed in various events and are in demand nowadays. Tehran Ghasri (known as Tehran SoParvaz), of Iranian father and African-American mother, K-Von (of Iranian father and Scottish-American mother) and Matt Kazam (of Iranian father and Jewish-American New Yorker mother) are among most popular. Tehran and Matt will be performing in FUNATICAL, one of the largest intercultural comedy events this April in Washington DC (detail here and video teaser below):
K-Von will be hosting an international mega-concert in New York with Iranian pop star Andy, and European star Anda Adam in new York (details on kodoom.com's event page).
