Iranian cleric calls for vigilantes to watch women at city gates!

Ahmad Jannati, a conservative Iranian cleric, and a close ally of Iranian leader, during Friday prayer sermons yesterday in Tehran asked women to watch their Hijab and head/body cover during holiday trips (Nowruz or Iranian new year and Spring festival) but also asked vigilantes to control "gates to cities" and not allow any cars in with passengers without proper Islamic cover. He said "It's best for Police to do this but if they don't, our vigilante brothers are authorized to do their duty!"
