Recently Charlie Rose discussed Rosewater with film director Jon Stewart, actor Gael García Bernal, and Iranian-born journalist Maziar Bahari, on whom the film is based. When Bahari comments about his Iranian interrogator's obsession with sex, Jews and New Jersey, Stewart quips he is a sexy Jew from New Jersey! In reference to Iran's right wing media labeling Stewart a Zionist, he says he thought he was labeled as Anti-Zionist by many in the US!
