VP Pence, Designer of Visa Ban for Iranians, Thanks Iranian American Heart Surgeon for Saving His Life

Former Vice President Mike Pence thanked Dr. Tehrani, an Iranian American heart surgeon for the successful implantation of a pacemaker in his heart on Wednesday after he experienced symptoms associated with a slowed heart rate:
"I am grateful for the swift professionalism and care of the outstanding doctors, nurses and staff at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, including Dr. Brett Atwater and Dr. Behnam Tehrani,"
Ironically, Pence was a staunch supporter of Trump Administration's visa bans for Iranians.
Dr. Behnam Tehrani serves as Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, located on Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. He was raised in Potomac, MD, and is currently residing in Oakton, VA, with his wife and twin son and daughter.
