Iranian town with 98% voter participation

Independent Persian News Search Engine, Kodoom.com: A record 98% of eligible voters in the town of N. Savadkooh in northern province of Mazandaran cast their ballots in Iran's recent parliamentary and Leadership Selection Council elections.
These were the first elections after the reformist President Rohani and Foreign Minister Zarif succeeded in signing the nuclear peace deal. Overall, voter turn out was high and estimated at 65-70%. Results indicate moderates and pro-diplomacy, pro-democracy reformists are ahead, indicating a defeat for conservative isolationist religious factions.
