No Need For Men! Female Iranian Pilots Make History
Independent Aggregator of Iran-related News/Events, Kodoom.com: Iranian women are among the most progressive, educated minorities in the Middle East and recently they made history again. On Monday, female Iranian pilots Neshat Jahandari and Firouz Firouzi became the first to fly a passenger flight, without any male pilots or supervisors, between Tehran and Mashhad with 160 passengers and the returned with 171 passengers.
But Iranian women inside Iran are not alone in making history. Two years ago, Iranian American Jasmin Moghbeli was selected by NASA for next generation of astronauts.
