Explosion cuts off natural gas pipeline from Iran to Turkey again
Turkish, Iranian and Russian news sources have reported another explosion in natural gas pipeline connecting Iran to Turkey. The massive blast occurred early Wednesday morning in Tuekey's eastern Ağri province and is blamed on separatist Kurdish rebels, forcing the shutdown of the conduit. Another explosion on July 21 blew up another section of the pipeline in the same province, which borders Iran.
