Asre Iran quotes from Russian sources that the Republic of Azerbaijan has returned to Iran 12 people suspected of planning to bomb the Israeli Embassy in Baku. There are two Lebanese and four Azerbaijanis among the group of suspects. It is also reported that Iran has simultaneously extradited to Azerbaijan Rashid Aliov, an Azerbaijani citizen, arrested on charges of espionage in Iran.
