Former Ahmadinejad Minsiter Treated like George W. Bush in Tehran University
Last Tuesday Saffar Harandi, the former Secretary of "Culture and Islamic Guidance" of Ahmadinejad government, which speaking at Tehran University, was booed several times by protesting students and supporters of "Green" reform movement led by Mousavi. Students also chanted "My brother martyr, we will take back your vote" referring to the allegations of fraud in Presidential election and the killing of protesters afterwards.
At one point one protester threw his shoe at Harandi, which landed short of him. This was perhaps inspired by last year's Shoe throw at George W. Bush during his press conference in Iraq by Muntadhar al-Zaidi, an Iraqi reporter. Iranian state-controlled media have called Al-zeidi a champion for freedom, and the Iranian government has even launched official "shoe throwing" games and contests in honor of Al-zaidi.//
