Continued Protest at Iranian Universities Despite Mass arrest or Suspension of Student Activists
In spite of widespread security measures by the government, students at several universities in Iran continued their protests against university administration and government crack down on civil liberties such as mass arrest/suspension of pro-reform, pro-Mousavi students and political activists. Students also decry stationing of Basiji or pro-government militia controlled by Revolutionary Guard Corp in universities.
