Another explosion in the Iranian oil industry
Three days after the explosion and destruction of Iranian oil rig No. 118 in Naftshahr (Western Iran), which resulted in 15 casualties, this morning in the Southern port city of Bandar Abbas, an oil storage tank used to fuel ships on the Persian gulf, exploded. The fire was controlled after three hours because the tanker was only slightly filled with oil. Two people are reportedly killed and five others injured. The cause of neither explosion is known yet.
