Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps Awarded another $2.5 Billion Project
Iran's Transportation Ministry announced yesterday that the Revolutionary Guard Corps were awarded a $2.5 Billion Project in the Free economic zone of Chabahar, in Southern Iran.
In recent years, the so-called privatization plans of Ahmadinejad government have practically helped a widespread takeover of government-run businesses by the military establishment (Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC). The largest such transition was the purchase of a majority stake in Iran's Telecommunication Company by the military for about $8 Billion, which even some in the Iranian parliament called an illegal transaction.
