Massive fire in Tehran's main Bazaar (Market) shut down the Gold Exchange
According to Hamshahri a massive fire at the entrance to Tehran's main Bazaar (market) destroyed a 3-story business and shut down the Gold exchange. It is not known whether the fire was related to the Iranian protests or just an incident.
Also, a large number of military police could be seen on the streets of Tehran today, perhaps to contain protest rallies by university students to the confines of Universities and not allowing it to spread to the streets. Continuous honking could be heard on some streets as many drivers passing by the universities, honked in solidarity with the protesting reformist "Green" students inside.
